Reservation & Policies
Deposit & Confirmation
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at booking. Without it, your reservation is not held. Contact us in advance if you anticipate payment delays — we may offer a short extension at our discretion.
Final Payment
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 90 days before your scheduled arrival. This final payment, like the deposit, is non-refundable.
Date Changes
Date changes within the same season are allowed, subject to availability. Transfers to a different season require forfeiting your deposit. All changes must be coordinated in advance.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. Since deposits and final payments are non-refundable, insurance protects you against illness, weather disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Hosted Trips
If you’re an outfitter or fishing guide, you have the opportunity to create your own hosted trips with us at Rio Manso Lodge. Bring your clients to experience world-class Patagonian fishing while enjoying the comfort and convenience of a fully personalized trip.
Our team will assist you with everything from planning the itinerary to selecting the right gear and flies. Each trip is tailored to your needs, with a maximum of 8 anglers per group.

The nearest airport to Rio Manso Lodge is in San Carlos de Bariloche. Flights connect via Buenos Aires — if you have time, we recommend spending a couple of days in the city.
International flights arrive at Ezeiza (EZE); most domestic flights depart from Aeroparque (AEP). Check if a direct EZE→BRC flight is available — Aerolineas Argentinas often operates this route. Allow at least 4–5 hours between your EZE arrival and AEP departure.
Transfer tip
Use a reputable transfer between Ezeiza and Aeroparque — we recommend Manuel Tienda León (counter after baggage claim). A private car costs ~$60 for the one-hour ride.
The transfer from Rio Manso Lodge to El Atravesado Lodge is a scenic 6-hour drive. Let us know if you’d like to combine both lodges.
The nearest airport to El Atravesado Lodge is in Esquel (EQS), with regular flights from Buenos Aires.
Allow at least 4–5 hours between connections in Buenos Aires. Once in Esquel, we’ll arrange your transfer to the lodge — approximately 2.5 hours through beautiful Patagonian scenery.
Need to arrive early?
If flight schedules require an overnight in Esquel, we’re happy to recommend hotels in the area. Just let us know.
If you are joining us exclusively for Float Trips, let us know and we will provide all trip details and logistics for your reservations.
